Fit Handwriting
Strong penmanship is essential for effective communication and academic achievement. Many learners struggle with dysfluent handwriting, which can impede their ability to perform well across various subjects, including comprehension and math. At Fit Learning, we offer personalized penmanship programs designed to boost fluency in letter, word, and sentence writing, helping students write clearly and efficiently.
What our Learners are Saying
Great place to help a child become competent and confident in their learning. Enjoyed having Dr. Julie explain why she is passionate about helping children at this lab.

My son has been with Fit (OC) for a yr now for help with reading. Initially, he wasn't too excited about participating in a program after a long day at... read more school, when already that was a struggle. To be honest, he felt it was a punishment. In the beginning, there were a lot of complaints about going, but the rewards system in place started to silence those complaints. (FIT is very flexible with what can be earned, and it is geared to each learners interests to keep them motivated. And it works!) Then, he realized he was actually learning and improving and having fun in the process. During the course of the year, I could see him becoming more confident and more willing to read. Now there are no complaints, and there are even times when he doesn't want to leave! Julie and her team are great and have so much patience for his silliness and that is truly appreciated! And the data reports allow me to see how he's progressing from initial assessment and not just guess at how he's doing. Overall, it has been a great and beneficial experience and I would definitely recommend FIT to others.

My son was very apprehensive going into the assessment last week, but when I picked him up he said he had a great time and that he can’t wait to... read more start the program! I have considered enrolling him in FIT for some time now. I have attempted many different methods but all roads have led us back to FIT. After reviewing my son’s assessments with Dr. Julie I know this is the right decision. Dr. Julie picked up on other areas of concern that weren’t obvious to me but factor into my son’s school struggles. We are very excited to get started and we are very grateful to have a FIT location here in OC!
